Sea and garden collage vase

$140.00

This vase starts on the potters wheel and is finished using the screen-printing technique typical of my work. The exterior imagery is created with screen-printed underglaze on paper, which is then torn and applied to form a unique collage effect. Each vase I make is unique and each viewpoint of the vase is distinct. This vase is based on imagery of wild Vermont flora and imagery of seaweed by the 19th century botanist and photographer, Anna Atkins.

The inside is glazed and ready for your next floral creation.

This particular vase may work as utensil holder in your kitchen as well.
