Alexi is a forth generation Denverite born and raised on the west side within what would later become the Santa Fe Art District. After attending the Denver School of the Arts and graduating in 1997 Alexi went to the Kansas City Art Institute for his undergraduate education in ceramics. He stayed after college to work on projects at Grand Arts and Eldorado architects. In 2007 Alexi returned to Denver and continued to create work. He was accepted as one of the first Redline residents in 2008 and completed a public art project at the La Alma rec center in 2010. He has since been a finalist for several projects locally and nationally. He currently keeps a studio at the Artists on Santa Fe building and creates work in clay and mixed media.
